Brian Ray

CEO, Link Labs

Brian Ray is the co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Link Labs. Prior to founding Link Labs, Brian was Asymmetric Operations Program Manager at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab (JHU APL) where he led a team of engineers with that provided cutting edge technical solutions to the US Intelligence Community. He had overall responsibility for technical project execution, new product design, business capture, personnel management, and quality execution and support. During his tenure at APL, Brian led successful classified programs, successfully transitioned an internal research project into a multi-year program of record, managed extensive subcontracting relationships (including foreign entities), led the successful deployment of a world-wide intelligence gathering system, and deployed with Special Operations Forces to Afghanistan in support of APL technologies.

Brian was previously Vice President of Engineering and Product Management at Lookingglass Cyber Solutions, a network security software and services company that provides visibility into cyber threats at internet scale for large enterprises. At Lookingglass, he was responsible for full stack development, testing, integration, and delivery of multi-layered enterprise software suite. He was also responsible for sales support, personnel administration, and product marketing.

Brian has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, where he was a Distinguished Graduate and Varsity Sailor. He also holds an M.A. from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom.
