David E. Otte serves as the Chief Information Officer of Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP. As the CIO, David has reengineered the entire infrastructure, application, and user experience functions while merging two independent IT organizations. David is also responsible for non-traditional IT functions including Records, Library, Conflicts/New Business, Litigation Support, Knowledge Management, and Outsourced Service Management. Prior to joining Bingham Greenebaum Doll, LLP, David was the CIO at Sidley Austin LLP for five years with a total of thirteen years of service at the Firm. As CIO, his team was responsible for the global Information Technology that supported Sidley’s 18 offices and 4,000 users in the United States, Europe, Asia and Australia. While at Sidley but prior to his tenure as CIO, David standardized the firm’s Litigation Support department processes, established a global PMO, and implemented leading edge financial systems. David is a CPA and a graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in finance and earned an MBA/MIS from DePaul University in Chicago.
