Scott Wornow serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer & Chief Compliance Officer for global semiconductor manufacturer, Atmel Corporation.  During his tenure at Atmel, the Legal Department has been recognized as Most Innovative In-House Law Department (Financial Times – both 2015 and 2014); Best In-House Employment Department (International Law Office (ILO) Global Counsel Awards - 2014); and Best In-House Legal Team for Corporate Governance at a Small- to Mid-Cap Company (New York Stock Exchange – 2015).  He has also served as Chief Legal Officer, Chief Restructuring Officer and Head of Business Affairs for other publicly-traded technology companies.  In addition, he has been a Corporate Partner at the international law firms of Baker Botts, where he founded the firm’s Silicon Valley corporate practice, Goodwin Procter (Silicon Valley), and Paul Hastings (New York), where he helped establish the firm’s New York corporate practice.  Hereceived his JD from the Harvard Law School, a law degree from Cambridge University, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.
