Thomas Skill

Associate Provost and CIO, University of Dayton

Thomas Skill (Ph.D.1984 SUNY/Buffalo) is Associate Provost & CIO at the University of Dayton.  He has over 30 years of computing and communications technology experience in higher education and is a tenured professor in the Department of Communication at the University. Among his many IT interests and responsibilities, Skill teaches courses on cybersecurity, communication and social engineering. In addition, Skill is also leading the creation of the Center for Cybersecurity and Data Intelligence at the University of Dayton.  This center will serve as a major collaborative catalyst for IT security research and education with a focus on highly-experiential learningand multidisciplinary research across all academic units on campus.
