NTT Com Announces Cloud-Based Infrastructure to Enhance Productivity of ITOCHU Employees
FREMONT, CA: NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), a provider of generation Information and communications technology (ICT) solutions and international communications business, announces next- ICT infrastructure. Incorporated with enterprise cloud service, as well as Microsoft’s Office 365 and other applications delivered as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), the new technology will provide advanced ICT capabilities to the employees of ITOCHU Corporation, a general trading company.
Under this new infrastructure, all applications will be provided from the cloud and can be accessed via the Internet as well as private network environments of ITOCHU offices globally. By leveraging NTT Com’s Enterprise Cloud, ITOCHU’s next-generation ICT infrastructure will obtain a robustness, security and convenience to allow employees to access smoothly from anywhere and on any devices.
Exchange Server and Exchange Online will be available from a private cloud created with NTT Com’s Enterprise Cloud, as well as from a public cloud using Office 365 as backup. It will help to realize an extra convenient and robust communications environment. All the official mails will be transferred to Office 365 in real time, which would enable ITOCHU to use this backup data for business continuity in the event of a disaster. Using next-generation ICT infrastructure designed and constructed by NTT Com, ITOCHU employees will be able to work in extra-efficient office environments worldwide, regardless of location or type of device.
