3Gtms Launches 3G-TM, the New Transportation Management System
SHELTON, CT: 3Gtms , provider of software that simplify complex transportation management for shippers, 3PLs and brokers, has announced the release of 3G-TM, the company's transportation management system which is already live at Network FOB (N+FOB), a full service independent agency network.
3G-TM is very much in parallel to the present innovative era which is always in need for flexible technologies; the solution is easy for transportation managers to use and is also adaptive and powerful.
Mitch Weseley, co-Founder and CEO of 3Gtms says, "A year ago, 3Gtms had a vision to build a game-changing TMS for mid-market shippers, 3PLs and brokers whose needs had previously been mostly neglected in earlier TMSs. The solution had to include the most important functionality and comprehensive design previously only found in expensive and complex TMS systems, yet be affordable. It also had to be intuitive and easy to use unlike any of the previously existing TMSs.”The best and most experienced transportation experts were recruited by the company to deliver the product that had already changing the way people see and use a TMS.
With Gtms’ new software, double-digit reductions in work times for order entry and load planning are achieved. “3Gtms promised the next generation TMS and, in an incredibly short amount of time, they have delivered it. We are happy to take advantage of their incredible achievement,” says said Bill Sandberg, CIO of N+FOB.
The 3G-TM implementation replaced legacy systems that individually managed truckload and LTL shipments. With the help of 3G-TM, complex contract requirements for N+FOB’s new high volume freight client with functionality is resolved. It also offers load visibility through a transaction sharing portal that gives the client direct system access to personally view status updates down to the load level.
