Algoma University Aims to Automate Enrollment with Enrollment RX's Cloud-Based CRM
FREMONT, CA: With a vision of smoothening the process of enrollment, Algoma University has selected Enrollment Rx to automate the recruitment and enrollment processes. Enrollment Rx is a firm that offers cloud-based Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) solutions for higher education. Utilizing the CRM’s new capabilities and customized portal offered by Enrollment Rx, the Algoma’s primary objective is to save staff time and focus more on complex application needs, by also improving the overall customer service and communication.
"Before, we had to ask IT to help us create lists or workflow rules. Now with Enrollment Rx, we can do it ourselves," says Brent Krmpotich, Director of Marketing, Communications and Student Recruitment, Algoma.
In order to boost efficiency and enhance communication between students and staff, Algoma University planned to replace their existing system with a CRM solution specifically designed for higher education business activities. Algoma adopted Enrollment Rx as they stage a centralized system focused on tracking and maintaining all activities associated with the application process across various departments. Enrollment Rx’s cloud-based CRM enables Algoma to carry out the activities quickly and efficiently.
Now, once a student hits the submit button on the application, the application is sent to the admissions team and they can begin the process of reviewing immediately. As the entire information is stored on cloud, admissions staff can access the system and control the functionalities even while travelling, without the assistance of IT.
Algoma has successfully implemented automated workflow rules in Enrollment Rx, apart from executing manual queries and checking the status manually. For instance, if an application is updated, Enrollment Rx sends alerts to the staff, expecting to take action immediately. Algoma also deploys Events Rx, helping the admissions team to create an online registration page automatically when an event is created. The innovative process enables communication with a large number of students.
"We won't be forced to move to a new system in five years, but can continue to expand the CRM to other parts of the student lifecycle. With Enrollment Rx, we have a future proof solution with innovation in its DNA," comments Jim Adams, Manager of Information Systems, Algoma.
