Bitfusion's Boost Beta Improves Application Performance through Supercomputing

FREMONT, CA: As application performance demands have outpaced Moore’s Law, Bitfusion, a developer of advanced optimization technology for high-performance and compute intense applications releases Boost Beta, a software acceleration layer that accelerated compute-intensive applications automatically.

The latest launch allows users to automatically upgrade their applications’ performance without replacing and upgrading the hardware. It accelerates applications for scientific computing, data science, rendering, machine learning, CFD, CAD and image processing. Currently applications such as Blender, ImageMagick, R, NumPy/SciPy, Octave, Matlab, FFmpeg and Torch are being accelerated by the optimizer. The solution exposes unused hardware capabilities to provide an order of magnitude performance.

The company notes that improving application performance is an expensive proposition for most organizations. The ever-increasing performance demands can be met by taking advantage of hardware-based innovations to maximize IT investments that requires an efficient approach to computing.
