SAN DIEGO, CA: Cireson unveils its new Password Reset app that is part of Cireson’s much anticipated Identity Management Solution for Microsoft System Center Service Manager. The new app helps organizations improve productivity and save thousands of dollars.

Cireson’s Password Reset app one of the first of many pre-built password connectors to be embedded within the Cireson Identity Management Solution. The Cireson Identity Management Solution will contain updates and added features like: Password Reset for other Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) sources, integrated native third party applications, alternate authentication methods, pre-built Service Catalog processes, integration for Password Reset for Azure Active Directory (AD), and other customer driven demands as Cireson grows their footprint in this space. This announcement comes after the recent unveiling of the Cireson Platform, which combines the very best of service, asset, and now their first release in the identity management space.

According to Gartner Research, the average password reset for an employee costs an organization 25 dollars, with resets accounting for 30% of all service desk requests. Simple calculations show that an organization with 2,000 employees can expect an overall cost burden of 165,000 dollars annually due to lost productivity for end users.

In an attempt to help organizations realize their own potential cost, Cireson has created an ROI calculator. The ROI calculator will show cost savings that the organizations achieve by implementing this easy to deploy application. Furthermore, the Password Reset app for AD will also improve productivity whilst reducing costs. This will be achieved by allowing users to reset their own passwords securely without contacting the service desk.
