Enadoc Introduces MFP Connect for Smart Document Management
FREMONT, CA: The increasing use of Multifunction peripheral (MFP) – a device performing variety of functions that are usually carried out by separate devices such as printing, scanning and copying, in enterprises – calls for new apps and services that help in smarter document management. To that end, Enadoc has introduced MFP Connect as a new app that can be used to sync scanned documents with Enadoc, report Yashodha and Jayani Abeyasinghe for Enadoc’s Blog.
Enadoc is an enterprise cloud-based document imaging system featuring tag cloud that is a visual representation of all tags associated with documents for easy identification; quick sharing of files to integrate with company’s existing applications and Enadoc’s hexagonal security for better protection of data.
In order to offer additional benefits of MFP to its clients, Enadoc brings forth an independent app called Enadoc MFP Connect available under Apps and Services of Enadoc System. The scanned documents will be stored in a pre-defined user folder. Once the user logs in to MFP app, the folder can be uploaded in the user’s workspace following which it can be uploaded to Enadoc. There will be a notification showing the number of files waiting to be uploaded in Enadoc every time the user logs in to MFP Connect. Before uploading the documents, users can combine and organize the documents in their workspace itself.
