FREMONT, CA: Extreme Networks, a networking technology solutions provider, announces IdentiFi wireless solutions for easier cloud deployments. The solution is packed with host of enhancements including support for IEEE 802.11r & k standards.
Backed by their industry-wide wireless network installation experience, the company has developed enhancements to the latest solution based on customer feedback. The latest additions include support for IEEE 802.11r & k standards, new access point (AP), new virtual appliance, purview application visibility integration into IdentiFi and improved data performance.
The company’s Cloud offerings comprise of IdentiFi VMware virtual appliance and Purview integration. Purview extends application analytics into IdentiFi and cloud deployments simplifying installations. The Virtual Appliance allows customers to scale their APs as demand increases and decreases. Dynamic Radio Management (DRM) feature improves data traffic performance, it accommodates changing RF environment by automatically adjusting radio power output and channel selection. Without any software or hardware changes, customers can migrate from 2.4GHz to 5GHz with all the support from enterprise grade 802.11 ac access points.
Other features of IdentiFi include ability to deliver more applications and throughput with fewer APs, managing network through dashboard, seamless mobility with fast roaming and boost business agility through advanced architecture.
