FREMONT, CA: Global information and technology provider Huawei has recently planned to enhance the U.S. enterprise networking market. As a part of this, the company at Interop conference has displayed its new services and made announcements, reports Sean Michael Kerner for Enterprise Networking Planet.

At the conference, the company announced its partnership with Essintial, a provider of business process outsourcing services for the enterprise service supply chain. This agreement expands Huawei’s Hi-Care service portfolio and its capabilities to support customers’ demanding requirements for faster hardware replacement and onsite field engineering support.

Hi-Care is the global enterprise portfolio of Huawei branded services that provides technical assurance to Huawei customers. It consists of technical and software support along with hardware replacement and online assistance.

David Zhang, Vice President of Enterprise Delivery and Service Department, Huawei Enterprise says, “The relationship with Essintial allows Huawei to offer six different service levels for hardware replacement with the option of an onsite field engineer. This agreement allows Huawei to add more than 1,000 field engineers and access to 240 Forward Storage Locations (FSL), enabling 4-hour part replacements and onsite field engineering support nationwide.”

However, Huawei’s new SDN, BYOD and cloud data center services are also exhibited in the conference. Huawei CloudEngine 12800 (CE12800) series switches are next-generation core switches designed for data center networks and high-end campus networks.

“It's a challenge but we will prove ourselves with our good solutions. We will bring our differentiated technology and solutions and prove ourselves with some good references,” says Patrick Zhang, President, Marketing and Solutions Department, Enterprise Business Group at Huawei Technologies.
