ilands Deliver Effortless Backups for Customers Using Veeam Cloud Connecting Technology
HOUSTON, TX: iland-a provider of enterprise cloud solutions announces the shifting of backups onto a full Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaas) platform using Veeam Cloud Connecting Technology.
The technology facilitates users with hassle-free cloud for production workloads, test and development and disaster recovery regardless of expertise, location or business objective.
iland Cloud Backup leverages Veeam Cloud Connect allowing users to keep an update of virtualized applications using the ability to restore files and virtual disks when required. The Veeam Availability Suite v9 enables customers to configure, test and failover to different cloud locations across the globe.
Veeam Availability Suite v9 provides fully integrated, fast and secured cloud based disaster recover through a service provider. It also provides VMware backups faster by backing up directly from file –based (NFS) primary storage using Veeam’s proprietary NFS client.
The technology also enables customers to mix and match backup by supporting full and partial failover, encryption in motion, at-rest of customer VMs and to smooth the failover process through built-in traffic reduction mechanisms and network extension functionality.
“Veeam’s replication technology makes it easy for organizations to gain the peace of mind that comes from knowing their businesses are protected by a full DRaaS solution. However, many other cloud service providers ruin that simplicity by overwhelming customers with complex pricing schemas or poorly executed customer support,” says Lilac Schoenbeck, VP of Product Marketing and Management, iland.
