Integration of ThingTech's TracIT App Enhances Fleet Management
ATLANTA, GA: With the aim of enhancing the interconnection of businesses with their customers, partners and employees in unique ways, ThingTech, an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) firm introduces TracIT, an advanced, real-time GPS fleet, EAM app on the Salesforce AppExchange. TracIT was designed for transportation and service companies interested in integrating fleet asset management and real-time vehicle location data with their cloud-based enterprise solutions.
TracIT comes with various features like real-time location tracking, utilization, notifications, engine telematics and analytics that leverage the power of the Salesforce App Cloud. It allows Salesforce users, currently using a separate fleet tracking solution to locate their fleet and run all fleet management reports directly from the Salesforce platform.
Some of the major features of TracIT includes: real-time map view which provides the routes and location, real-time location and telematics – calculates distance of the location, ThingX Connect API Server and Fleet and Asset Analytics. It also contains advanced features like route optimization and planning, asset management and maintenance, mobile field service apps and IFTA reporting and compliance.
Furthermore, the latest app enables Sales Cloud and Service Cloud solution users to collate real-time location, sensor, and mobile device data into their Salesforce instance. This helps customers to be up-to-date with user-defined GPS locations and telematics alarm, by providing real-time notifications, alerts, and service delivery Estimated Time of Arrival.
