Latest Solution from Mirantis Helps Build Stronger OpenStack Ecosystem

Mirantis unveils for their customers the latest solution Mirantis Unlocked, a partner program to assist infrastructure and solution providers to effortlessly deliver technology in the OpenStack ecosystem.

The latest solution covers Mirantis' technology partnerships with big IT companies such as Citrix, Juniper Networks, VMware, Brocade, and EMC; and innovative technologies from Nuage Networks, SolidFire, Maxta, Avi Networks, Metaswitch Networks, Cumulus Networks, BigSwitch, ActiveState, Midokura, and ScalR.

Mirantis CMO and co-founder, Boris Renski explains, "The vision of Mirantis Unlocked is to take best-of-breed infrastructure technologies through a rigorous certification process, giving customers an out-of-the box experience with OpenStack without limiting their infrastructure choices."

Mirantis Unlocked partners gain go-to-market support and pre-validation and certification with Mirantis OpenStack, a pure play OpenStack distribution that's easy to install and operate at scale. Beyond simple API interoperability and infrastructure driver testing, infrastructure Unlocked providers are able to develop, certify and document a plugin for the Fuel OpenStack installer, automating the customer deployment and configuration experience. Similarly, Mirantis Unlocked partners focused on providing developer platforms and tooling can integrate with OpenStack via the Murano application catalog.

Mirantis future plans includes the release of complete OpenStack appliance with important Mirantis Unlocked partners that further simplifies the complexity of building clouds at scale.
