Mobile Lab's deviceConnect to Support DevOps Culture for Mobile Apps
FREMONT, CA: Mobile Labs, a provider of testing tools for mobile applications, demonstrates deviceConnect, an internal cloud-based mobile application testing platform to improve mobile application quality and support mobile DevOps culture.
deviceConnect enables user to remotely manage, track and monitor testing assets by individual name, manufacturer, model number, OS version, availability, apps currently loaded for test and more. The solution enables QA managers to add, modify or disable any tester or administrator.
deviceConnect a highly secure, easy to install and remotely maintained solution as implementation occurs inside enterprise’s firewall. It allows testers to remotely access and share Android, iOS smartphones and tablets for manual or automated testing. Available device can be identified using Web-based console. Once a device is selected, the tester can identify apps available for test, perform object definition, script development, automated-script testing and manual testing.
The company’s offering is a turnkey solution consisting of a server which runs the deviceConnect software and a rack in multiple configurations to accommodate mobile devices.
Mobile Labs’ other offerings include mobile app testing; mobile website testing, mobile performance testing, mobile monitoring, mobile DevOps and mobile device testing.
“A secure mobile device cloud empowers enterprises to use Agile engineering and to benefit from efficient mobile DevOps cultures, and deviceConnect integrates proven tools like Jenkins into the mobile development lifecycle,” said Don Addington, President and CEO, Mobile Labs. “Enterprises gain new control over app quality through continuous integration, continuous automated testing and automated deployments of mobile app builds to the right mobile devices for verification, testing and support.”
