MSPs Gain from AVG's Latest Service Module for Microsoft Office 365 Administration
AMSTERDAM and SAN FRANCISCO: AVG Technologies, an online security software provider, launches enhanced service module capability for remote monitoring and management of customers’ Microsoft Office 365 cloud-based collaboration, communications, and productivity software platform. The latest capabilities in the company’s services are designed for IT providers and Managed Services Providers (MSPs) who use AVG Managed Workplace for monitoring and managing purposes.
Besides enabling partners to seamless manage cloud environments within AVG Managed Workplace, the Office 365 service module helps in cutting administration costs through streamlined execution of administration tasks. It allows administrators to view all the essential information in a single screen that helps in tackling the problems with multiple logins between applications.
The latest integrated Office 365 service module within AVG Managed Workplace includes: Customized view of up-to-date information about Office 365 usage on per user, per site, or all customer sites basis; incisive information related to the licenses, policies, activities, user password resets and managing users without using Windows PowerShell; rich HTML view.
“There is growing momentum in the channel behind Office 365 which Microsoft has described as the fastest growing business in its history,” said Mike Foreman, General Manager, SMB, AVG Technologies. “Today’s announcement is a clear example of how the channel’s role is as important as ever. By wrapping their services value around a cloud service such as Office 365 the channel can make their role as important as ever. Their ability to demonstrate continuous proactive support puts them firmly in the driving seat when it comes to establishing long-term customer relationships.”
