NETGEAR Upgrades AC1900 Smart Wi-Fi Router (R7000) for Video Streaming

LAS VEGAS, NV: NETGEAR, a networking solution provider, upgrades Nighthawk AC1900 Smart Wi-Fi Router (R7000), which features superior remote network management,  easy remote access to USB Storage, and easy up gradation to next-generation 802.11ac Wi-Fi.

With ReadyCLOUD support, files stored in USB hard drive, connected to the router can be accessed. Ready CLOUD app for PCs, iOS and Android mobiles, helps in the virtual access to files. It also offers file sharing, and photos back up from android phones to USB hard drive. 

The new NETGEAR genie app allows, access to home network, blocking Wi-Fi devices, setting up guest Wi-Fi, view of network map, when the user is not at home. AC1900 Smart Wi-Fi Router (R7000) is meant to provide a qualitative Wi-Fi experience for the Wi-Fi enabled devices including smart phones, tablets, smart TVs, notebooks, Blu ray players, media servers and notebooks

The new features include NETGEAR ReadyCLOUD for remote access to USB storage and 1GHz dual core processor for speed and less buffering time. It also features enhanced NETGEAR genie for remote network management and a network wizard, providing greater adaptability with the Internet Service Provider (ISP) gateway and quick Wi-Fi support.

“The automatic and easy installation process will enable you to upgrade your Wi-Fi even if you have to use a gateway with older technology because it is provided by your ISP,” says Sandeep Harpalani, NETGEAR’s Director of Product Marketing for Retail Network Products.
