REDWOOD SHORES, CA: Oracle makes it big with the launch of the Oracle Data Integrator for Big Data that helps in making data integration more accessible and actionable for customers. Oracle Data Integration a crucial component of Oracle’s Big Data solutions, allows customers to securely reach across Hadoop, NoSQL, and relational databases to effortlessly and cost-effectively sort through massive and diverse data sets. It facilitates the users to quickly shift from data to decisions, restructure their Hadoop development, while enhancing data transparency and data governance across the organization.

Customers with access to diverse data types from on-premises and cloud sources can benefit a lot from this launch as it helps in delivering high quality performance for growing data volumes for business decisions and regulatory compliance. Designed to make most of a customer’s investment in Hadoop cluster, it runs natively with no requirement of proprietary code to be installed or a separate server to be run.

Jeff Pollock, Vice President of Product Management at Oracle says, “With this new product Oracle has made it possible for our customers to be big data ETL developers without having to learn Scala, Pig or Oozie code.

“In fact, Oracle is the only vendor that can automatically generate Spark, Hive and Pig transformations from a single mapping which allows our customers to focus on business value and the overall architecture rather than multiple programming languages,” adds Pollock.
