FREMONT, CA: QAD, a provider of ERP solutions, announces browser-based user experience for the QAD Enterprise Applications suite, for ERP users of both cloud and on-premise software. The new UX can be personalized according to the needs of the user. It offers individual adaptability and device-independent experience.

The latest solution is based on updated underlying API driven architecture that offers flexibility over earlier service-oriented architecture (SOA). It includes a number of built-in role-based UXs, which are easy to modify.

Enhancements to the ERP software user experience and architecture closely relates to the four islands off the coast of Santa Barbara that are visible from the company’s corporate office. Each island represents a different phase of QAD program such as excellent user experience, evolution of QAD enterprise application, world class architecture and cloud friendly modular deployment. The UX improvements of the project are currently available in certain modules.

Pam Lopker, QAD President and Chairperson, points out that their two years of effort in bringing out a new user interface mirrors Anacapa, the smallest among the major islands that has a huge mountain beneath the water and only the tip being visible.
