React Mobile's Collaboration with Seattle University Improves Resident Safety
SEATTLE, WA: React Mobile, a safety solution that helps people in emergencies to quickly send out a widespread emergency alert via email, text and social media without having to access and unlock their phone has aligned with Seattle University to offer its summer residents with their safety solution.
React Mobile’s, React Sidekick is a low energy Bluetooth (4.0) Smart panic button that pairs with the free React Mobile safety appthat can be used to quickly and remotely activate a widespread emergency alert.
"We're continuously seeking to improve safety throughout our campus and to provide the latest technology to our students," says Tim Marron, Executive Director of Public Safety and Transportation, Seattle University. "The React Mobile solution offer students, faculty and staff an additional layer of security that complements our current campus safety efforts. We plan to phase out our current safety app in favor of React Mobile."
Seattle University, that offers services for safety that include Blue Light Emergency Phones, Night Hawk Safety/Escort Patrol and a fee-based safety app is now offering its residents, a more powerful app by selling them to thefirst year students during their "Summer in Seattle" orientations and Fall "Welcome Week."
React Mobile has taken steps to integrate their solution with Seattle University's Public Safety office to help improve emergency response times on campus.
