RedSky's E911 and Unify's OpenScape Complete Interoperability Verification Testing
CHICAGO, IL: Unify, provider of communication software and services, and RedSky Technologies, provider of E911 solutions, announce the successful completion of interoperability verification testing of RedSky’s E911 Manager with Unify’s OpenScape Enterprise Version 9 solution.
RedSky’s E911 Manager is a comprehensive E911 (Enhanced 911) solution for enterprises. It features WiFi 911 which allows enterprise WiFi networks to locate WiFi phones in real time and My E911, a client software that protects mobile softphone users. E911 Manager’s latest version, 6.4.X includes simpler user interface, geo coordinate address submissions, and active servers for redundancy.
Unify’s OpenScape is a solution for enterprise Unified Communications (UC) to provide spanning voice, mobility, audio conferencing, messaging and web collaboration. It bridges the gap between digital communications to IP based unified communications. Since it is completely virtualized, it is ready for Data- Center for public or private cloud deployments. The verified interoperable solution of E911 Manager and OpenScape is available from Unify, RedSky and their network partners.
"Unify is very happy to have reached this milestone with one of the industry's leading 9-1-1 solution providers. This benchmark provides Unify customers an even greater benefit when migrating to our OpenScape First Response NG9-1-1 solution, bringing premise-specific addressing and accuracy to the PSAP," says Peter Kuerpick, EVP, Product House, Unify.
