FREMONT, CA: Rescale, one of the world’s leading cloud platform providers has collaborated with COMSOL, creators of the robust, physics-based modeling and simulation software and would now be hosting the latter’s Multi-physics software. The collaboration would make it easy for the users of COMSOL Multi-physics software to run high-end hardware analysis which demands computation and matches the solver’s flexibility and power. The COMSOL Multi-physics analysis would also accelerate, as users would now be using diverse and dynamic pay-per-use demand High Performance Computing (HPC) platforms provided by Rescale. These HPC platforms have the tools designed to leverage built-in administration that helps improve the pace at which simulation process is carried out in the multi-physics software. "For customers seeking HPC resources for bigger analyses, this important initiative with Rescale allows our users to take full advantage of both the COMSOL Multi-physics software and Rescale's secure and flexible simulation environments," adds Phil Kinnane, COMSOL's VP of business development.

Based on powerful numerical methods, COMSOL Multi-physics is an all-inclusive modeling software which simulates problems based on physics. Users are able to account for coupled or phenomena of multi-physics with COMSOL Multi-physics software. This simulation suite can be further expanded with more than 30 add-on products for simulating electrical, mechanical, fluid flow, and chemical applications allowing for unlimited combinations associated with multi-physics. Specialized simulation applications can also be created by the simulation experts using “Application Builder”, which is one of the many distinctive features of COMSOL’s Multi-physics software.

With the collaboration of COSMOL and Rescale, these specialized simulation applications fabricated by the simulation experts would now be available on the cloud and can be used by engineers and other physics oriented personnel who are not well-versed in the process of creating Multi-physics simulations. Rescale’s cloud is a home of many software packages and collaboration with COMSOL will only add another feather in their cap. “We’re very excited to be partnering with COMSOL to offer their unique software on our platforms. COMSOL Multi-physics is a critical tool for many engineers and scientists worldwide and an excellent addition to our suite of available software packages,” says Tony Spagnuolo, VP of sales, Rescale.
