SAP Ariba Uplifts Accenture's Procurement Platform
NEW YORK, NY: Accenture is enlarging their business procurement process with SAP Ariba, provider of business commerce network. Accenture’s business intimacy with SAP Ariba endows its Procurement business process outsourcing (BPO) services. The combined services of SAP Ariba solution with Accenture incorporates the latter’s proprietary procurement platform to supply Procurement as a Service and supports consumers to reach their target revenues.
SAP Ariba integrates industry-leading cloud-based applications with the notable Internet-based trading community to help companies expose their connectivity in business enhancement such as to buy, sell and manage cash efficiently and effectively.

Accenture has been engaged with SAP Ariba since a long time for clients who deal with internal procurement services. Recently, companies turned to hybrid operating models whereas they are able to manage select categories internally and enhance Accenture’s capabilities in other categories.
The new agreement will lead Accenture to evolve Ariba’s eRFX capabilities into its existing source-to-pay platform. The proprietary platform modifies and integrates the entire workflow while collecting and analyzing the procurement data to refine the business outcomes. Ariba Sourcing Professional allows Accenture to experience efficient real-time scoring of qualitative questions and advanced auction capabilities such as Index based auction and Net Present Value (NPV) auctions.
