SAP's S/4 HANA On-premises Version Now Available On AWS

FREMONT, CA: SAP is empowering its S/4 HANA suite’s on-premises version, which will be available for a 30-day trial basis on Amazon web services (AWS) to drive the digital economy of its customers reports Larry Dignan for ZDNet.

 S/4 HANA suite will comprehend end-to-end business process across different sectors namely finance, which will act as an helping hand in controlling, manufacturing and services like order-to-cash and procure-to-pay functions. It will also support processes for chemical industries by providing SAP Fiori Apps, SAP BOBJ reports, Lumira reports and sample scenario using Personas UX technology making it easy in deployment and adaptable for various businesses.

The main objective of SAP is to provide its customers a new experience through S/4 HANA suite and coax them to upgrade to a newer version and the HANA platform. SAP is also providing deployment scenario in cloud, on-premises and hybrid modes by making it easier to consume via a service called Activate. Customers who download the trial will pay for AWS instances as well as data transfer and storage costs.
