Fremont, CA: Spireon Inc., a Mobile Resource Management (MRM) and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions provider recently unveiled the firm’s first trailer telematics solution—FleetLocate Temperature Monitoring. It is aimed at consumers that demand extra safeguard for their delicate goods or products through the climate-controlled transportation as well as shipping process.
Spireon’s FleetLocate Temperature Monitoring solution allows consumers to fulfill regulatory compliance specifications as mentioned by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). This also includes new rules for food transportation and distribution as well. These regulations comprise of logging requirements for vehicles that carry perishable food and the requisite temperatures to be maintained.
