Tintri Expands its Partnership with VMware through Hypervisor Integration
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA: Tintri strengthens its partnership with VMware with the release of Tintri vSphere Web Client Plugin 2.0 and Tintri Management Pack for VMware vRealize operations. Through these new releases, Tintri provides VM level hypervisor integrations for vSphere.
The vCenter Web Client Plugin 2.0 will monitor and operate all the activities of the new vSphere Web Client Plugin 2.0. The new plugin provides a native UI for management of storage applications like cloning, snapshots and replication. It offers granular role based access controls, for assignment of tasks by administrators and supports Tintri SyncVM and VM level quality of service for recovery and updates. The vSphere Web Client Plugin offers a VMstore dashboard that identifies VMs to identify changes in performance or capacity utilization in the past seven days and reviews and acknowledges VMstore alerts from the vSphere web Client UI to correlate the alerts from VMstore with those from rest of the virtual infrastructure. It provides VMstore inventory summary that shows the summary of all VMstore systems deployed in the virtual infrastructure.
Tintri Management Pack for vRealize Operations 6.0 helps in the management of storage in large virtualized environments and private cloud deployments through its VM level storage statistics that provide insights to vRealize Operations.
“For those organizations that use vRealize Operations with Tintri, the Tintri Management Pack for vRealize Operations is an option that allows Tintri’s per-VM metrics to further enhance the management and monitoring of their entire virtualized infrastructure. Tintri is the only vendor that can provide real-time storage analytics at the VM-level to help vRealize provide a more complete picture of enterprise operation,” says Kieran Harty, Co-Founder and CTO, Tintri.
