SALTO Lock solution for a reliable and secure management systemWESTFORD, MA: Tyco Security Products, a provider of business security solutions embraces the event management system from Software House, a part of Tyco Security Products, to debut integrated SALTO Lock solution for a reliable and secure management system.

SALTO offline lock integrates Tyco’s C•CURE 9000 security and event management into a single system, allowing seamless access control for operators based on the communication between C•CURE 9000 and the SALTO server, through a high level user interface—SALTO Host Interface Protocol (SHIP). These locks have a flexible design that can fit into any type of door requiring a moderate level of security—storage areas, office spaces and other areas, where real-time security monitoring is not a priority.

Offline locks can be accessed by a card holder only after proper access permission is granted. Offline transactions shared via cards are synchronized with C•CURE 9000 server and further helps to support unlimited number of offline locks for offline reader access by using the SALTO online readers, which in turn saves money that was previously spent on lost key replacement.

The SALTO offline lock offers flexibility and real-time monitoring to all security projects, where cabling is an issue. “The C•CURE 9000/SALTO solution is a powerful integration that simplifies access control management by joining offline locks and hard wired doors together,” says Jason Ouellette, Product Line Director, Access Control, Tyco Security Products. “With C•CURE 9000 and SALTO, facilities can manage their entire access control infrastructure with a single credential and management platform.”
