Verizon Aims to Adopt Gemalto's Next-Generation Advanced OTA Technology
FREMONT, CA: Gemalto, a firm offering services in digital security, revealed that Verizon Wireless, a leading U.S. mobile operator will be utilizing the latest version of Gemalto's LinqUs Advanced OTA(AOTA) solution for its 4G LTE services.
"Gemalto is an excellent technology partner and it made sense to migrate to the Advanced OTA platform to better position Verizon for expansion into subscription management, new Trusted Services Hub (TSH) opportunities and IoT," says Adam Koeppe, VP of Network Technology, Verizon Wireless.
With the AOTA solution, Gemalto stages a foundation for high end services such as lifecycle management and next-generation subscriber provisioning. The solution supports a robust and advanced card management tool to meet Verizon's ever growing network demands. It acts as a highly secure and scalable framework for incorporating trusted solutions.
Verizon can easily meet the requirements of new technologies such as the IoT, M2M and other emerging business areas. The LinqUs AOTA framework also allows Verizon to quickly integrate various functionalities such as roaming management, Trusted Services Hub (TSH) and secure mobile authentication for digital signature services.
The LinqUs AOTA solution is specifically developed for all IP 4G networks. Gemalto’s effective and secure polling software helps to achieve a higher success margin while updating the UICC for the download and activation of network and subscriber applications.
The innovative solutions offered by Gemalto include the payment to enterprise security and the IoT. The firm authenticates people, transactions and objects. They also encrypt data and create value for softwares, assisting their clients to offer highly secure digital services for billions of things and individuals.
