Zerto's End-to-end BC/DR Solution in IBM Cloud
BOSTON, MA: Zerto—enterprise-class business continuity (BC) and disaster recovery (DR) tools provider has launched an all-new BC and DR solution in IBM cloud. The latest products provide turnkey BC and DR abilities for protecting crucial IT infrastructure while supporting various use cases including data center migrations. By using Zerto Virtual Replication and deployment in IBM cloud—the new solution automates all components of DR for virtual workload while creating highly flexible and advanced Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS).
Zerto’s new offering will enable the customers with production workload in virtualized data center architecture in cloud to reduce recovery problems and attain application recovery time objective (RTO) in minutes by using IBM cloud. Furthermore, recovery point objective (RPO) can also be achieved in seconds for maintaining overall control on DR by offering complete automation along with on-demand recovery and DR testing. In addition, the tool also reduces extra capital costs due to its usage based pricing system.
DR demands enormous investment for maintaining and operating distinct data center—DRaaS enables the organizations to convert capital expenditure into low operational cost. The recently launched DRaaS solution is based on Zerto Virtual Replication and IBM Cloud, which allows clients to achieve highly efficient RTO and RPO for maintaining key drivers like regulatory issues. This turnkey and scalable solution decreases the costs of business disruptions related with testing, hiring, and training a DR experienced workforce and maintaining DR.
“Zerto is different from any other business continuity and disaster recovery technology because it was designed from the ground up to operate in and take advantage of virtualized environments,” Andrew Martin, Managing Director, APJ, Zerto. “The result is a solution that delivers the fastest and most efficient replication and disaster recovery.”
