5AM Solutions flagship product— DataZoo—offers structured flexibility in the age of data variabilty. Many biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies partner with 5AM Solutions to create new tools to complement their existing in-house or cloud-based systems. An example of one such strategic partnership is when a multi-billion dollar biotech firm wanted to introduce a revolutionary product. Software would make the difference in downstream adoption, customer use and order fulfillment. Additionally, the firm needed consistent corporate branding and user experience across a variety of tools built organically over time combined with automation of front and back-end systems for excellent customer experiences with highly scientific audiences. The organization partnered with 5AM Solutions to fulfill their requirements.

“We introduced gamification into their production software system to encourage user adoption and data sharing which tied back to a core business need of acquiring the data to improve quality control,” explains Furfine. 5AM Solutions also used its experience across sectors for handling cloud and local instances with one code base and the automation to support the testing of both environments.

Alongside delivering the most befitting solutions, 5AM Solutions also continues to implement technology and process that support the customers innovative initiatives. For instance, the company has become Value Added Reseller (VAR) for Basho (Big Data Aggregation and Integration), Qlik (Data Visualization and Integration), and Bromium (Workstation based security encapsulation at the chip level). The firm will also have Amazon Web Services Certifications in place by February 2016. “We continually train our professional staff to meet the needs of our customers and our evolving business,” says Furfine.
