Keeping up with the latest trends in learning technology, Acrobatiq, a subsidiary of Carnegie Mellon University, is offering customizable courseware, learning analytics capabilities and consulting services to educational institutions that are looking forward to improve learning outcomes for students. Founded in July 2013, the new company is a spinoff from CMU's successful Open Learning Initiative (OLI), a recognized leader and pioneer in online learning since 2001.

The foundation of Acrobatiq Intelligent Courseware is the course design triangle. Three elements− clear, measurable learning objectives, content and activities, and assessments− work closely together to support improved student outcomes.

The design triangle ensures that there is no wasted time or effort. From day one, faculty and students can keep track of what they will know, and be able to do, at the end of the course.
