Using the probability of technical and regulatory success (PTRs) assessment for the online evaluation, the company reduced paperwork and saved a significant amount of time for IHCC. AppsTec offered suppliers the capability to register, maintain, and update their profile through a self-service interface, including details such as address, contact, bank accounts. The fact that more than 2000 suppliers have been registered till now, exemplifies the company’s success.
In another case, AppsTec helped the government of Fujairah in fastening their work process. The various departments of Fujairah’s government, such as finance, municipality, Dibba Al Fujairah municipality, and Fujairah Customs department were using different applications like EBS, trade license, and municipality services Legacy Applications. However, these applications were not integrated, which resulted in congestion and delay in process with a lot of bottlenecks caused by manual tasks and paperwork. The company identified these restraints in their operation and integrated the applications by using Oracle EBS Integrated SOA Gateway. Since the Oracle EBS Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG) eliminates the need for middleware software, it saved license costs and reduced maintenance costs, as the existing EBS system support team can maintain the infrastructure efficiently. Another successful implementation is for a leading bank in UAE where AppsTech implemented Web App & Mobile App with real-time integration with Oracle EBS by utilizing Microservice architecture. The company combined HR Benefits App with its proprietary attributes to build an App with good user experience and high scalability. The employees of the bank are now able to perform benefits transactions via this app. Similarly, AppsTec has implemented Oracle EBS for many mid to large organizations.
Additionally, the company has developed an in-house application called ELIT Portal that drives more and better e-supplier as well as e-sourcing through a joint online effort, creating an arrangement to streamline supplier management and sourcing process end to end. The application offers supplier management, e-invoice tracking, profile maintenance, and advanced procurement. “ELIT Portal significantly cut all stockpile and executive costs while making it easier for different associations to trade data, characterize necessities, direct exchange, and create new agreements,” says Kallepalli. This application can be used as both standalone or in the integration with ERP Systems such as JD Edwards, Oracle E-Business Suite.
