In one instance, OnLive, one of Juniper’s customers from the gaming industry had thousands of gaming sessions being conducted concurrently. The client required an agile and efficient platform that was capable of delivering 10 Gbps connections in real time. After a competitive evaluation, Blue Chip Tek was chosen to deliver the products of Juniper Networks’ data center infrastructure.

Following this, three production data centers were set up in three different locations, which supported the installation of Juniper products like Virtual Juniper Networks EX4200 Ethernet Switch and Virtual Chassis Configuration. After the implementation, the port density of each gaming session increased which resulted in the improved user experience in the cloud. At present, OnLive is working towards launching OnLive Game Service, which brings instant play video games to television, with no downloads, built with the foundation of Juniper Networks.
