During this initial investigation, ClearlyAgile also helps clients “seed the product backlog” by identifying goals and high-level changes for their proposed product.

From the leadership aspect, ClearlyAgile facilitates a Collaborative Diagnostic Workshop to help leaders identify common problems in the organization, so both parties can mutually agree where to focus. After the workshop, the company helps in forming focused alliances of those who understand the problems, and are willing to affect change by experimenting with new ways of working together. Then, ClearlyAgile moves toward the experiment. “Experiments are about trying new methods of working to solve the needs of the organization. Through experiments, we get to make small and incremental changes, measure impact, and identify what action yields the best results,” explains Mastropasqua.

When providing custom development services, ClearlyAgile partners with clients during a two-day story-mapping session to identify a minimum viable product. After that collaborative session, ClearlyAgile creates a proposal, along with estimated costs, team and schedule recommendations. After the proposal is accepted, ClearlyAgile delivers a user experience wire flow, a set of illustrations that visually maps the flow within an application, to ensure a more accurate proposal. “We’ll start sprinting after this stage, and typically in two weeks, we have a working product every sprint,” says Mastropasqua.
