With decades’ worth of banking and financial experience, CPQi understands what migrating a huge financial institution’s traditional legacy systems to the Cloud entails and requires. “Our Cloud experts are always prepared for our clients and leverage the latest cutting-edge technologies,” says Carlo Giovano, the Global Chief Operating Officer at CPQi. “We have assisted a number of large banks and companies in integrating Digital Transformation and Microsoft Cloud technologies.” To implement Cloud architecture for their clients, CPQi, through its personalized customization services, hosts the client’s chosen platform in a cloud environment and then provides unique customizations. These are designed to give the client the ability to interface with other systems, ensure a scalable platform and decouple business rules. In turn, this allows clients to be able to monitor and manage their platform installation from third-party tools, ultimately giving their engineering teams the ability to develop new and elaborate features. “Even during these uncertain times when sudden changes and shifts are now a commonality, our expertise and experience with this technology has become the guiding light in navigating forward,” adds Giovano.
What differentiates CPQi is the competency and expertise that its team endows. Everyone at CPQi is trained in both banking and technology, which means they truly understand what they are building. “We only work in the Americas. Our clients are always in the same time-zone as the people working on their projects. This is an essential requirement for DevOps. Being in the same time-zone also means that productivity is improved as everyone will be working at the same time,” informs Giovano.
Recently, CPQi launched a new resource centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The company is planning to expand this resource centre to better serve its North American clients. Further, their ongoing initiative, the CPQi University program, has become entirely digital by leveraging the Microsoft Cloud and Collaboration tools (such as SharePoint, Teams, Azure DevOps Wiki) for resources, videos and safe-pace training. “We have an internal certification incentive program for our team to achieve industry certifications, including those that are Microsoft Cloud related. We plan to continue expanding and growing CPQi University,” says Giovano. “We see Digital Transformation as the future of our industry, and so we plan to continue providing our services to clients to the best of our ability—building great products and cutting-edge strategies and technology.”![]()

As CPQi provides cloud migration services to Microsoft platforms, their team has incredible expertise in Microsoft tools such as Azure DevOps, Cloud, Wiki, Sharepoint, and others to deliver development and operations services to clients. These environments also support the company’s internal digital transformation and collaboration. “The world and the way we work is changing, and we have to adapt to it. Digital Transformation is the future, and CPQi has the expertise to help financial institutions react to this change and evolve along with it,” concludes Giovano.
