Optimal AV Systems for Better Workplace Collaboration

Every organization, whether it is an educational institution, a decision-making for board in companies, or a global media conglomerate, needs a collaborative space to share ideas and the best technology to do so effectively. In today’s digital world, audiovisual (AV) systems and other information and communication technology systems (ICT) are key to facilitating better communication and collaboration—both inside and outside the workspace. Integrated AV systems provide companies with multiple benefits that equate to greater success. They make it easy for organizations to schedule remote meetings between employees and teams at separate locations for a truly company-wide means of communication in real-time to solve problems and perform vital tasks. AV systems are also a boon when it comes to employee training; it eliminates the need for multiple on-site sessions that waste time and impair productivity.

Bringing such advantages of AV systems to businesses of all kinds is Eizo System, whose mission is to streamline communication and collaboration efforts for its clients, leading to greater engagement and increased productivity via its innovative offerings. As a Japanese firm, Eizo System has been committed to offering optimal AV and ICT systems for 50 years now. Ryuji Takano, President of Eizo System, says, “By developing systems that leverage IT and our audiovisual systems that impress and inspire, we respond to market demands while growing together with the rapidly changing world around us. “EIZO” translates to “visual” in English, and we take pride in being a company that provides true audiovisual systems.”

Established in 1971, Eizo System started out by installing and selling optical image display equipment, such as slide projectors and film projectors. In the years that followed, as video and digital image display equipment became widespread worldwide and the ICT market developed, Eizo System continued to expand its offerings to include AV and ICT systems. “No matter what systems are in demand, our commitment to constantly pursue the best, most user-friendly image display systems remains unchanged. Our founding principle is to create ‘AV systems that inspire,’ and this concept has led us to grow into a one-of-a-kind system integrator,” informs Takano. “We thoroughly pursue customer satisfaction and ‘innovate ourselves’.”

Eizo System primarily caters to two main sectors: the education landscape (mammoth universities and comprehensive educational institutions) and the corporate market.

Eizo System provides digital signage and AV systems for the gym, classroom, and other lecture spaces, AV booth system for the library, and more. In fact, it is the first company to introduce a touch panel into a university lecture system in Japan. Eizo System is also working on creating AV systems that can withstand long-term use, and are not limited to conventional ICT systems. “It is necessary to build a system that not only covers the classroom but also the entire school,” mentions Takano. When it comes to EizoSytem’s office solutions, they include digital signage, executive conference systems, AV systems suitable for presentations, video conference systems, remote conference systems, among others. What truly sets Eizo System’s products apart is their ease-of-use. Moreover, all of the solutions are ISO certified. Eizo System also offers various services such as site surveys, maintenance and inspection, and diagnostics and repairs.

Currently, the company is developing the world's first omnidirectional video and audio system that can use 5G high-speed communication technology, and is developing the market with a rotary digital signage system that has never existed in Japan as a new technology and media. “We aim to not only be a provider of efficient communication tools that use basic audiovisual equipment but also as an AV/ICT integrated system integrator,” remarks Takano.

Another notable aspect of Eizo System is its customer-centric approach. All of the firm’s employees are committed to creating a system that not only meets the needs of its customers but is of high quality and gives them maximum satisfaction. “We value the unique concept of system construction, customer satisfaction, mutual support spirit among employees, understanding of other companies, and social contribution,” affirms Takano. From planning, design and construction to operation and maintenance, all employees work together to constantly pursue what customers want to achieve, not merely seek out hardware technology. With 2000 clients including foreign companies in Japan alone, Eizo System is looking forward to celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2021. “We have made it successfully this far and will continue to put in efforts toward becoming a 100-year old company that proposes innovative system construction like no other,” concludes Takano.
