In one instance, a large manufacturer reached out to FirstLight seeking assistance to ensure complete and timely delivery of 80 percent of their product orders. They were struggling to accurately measure their performance due to exceptional orders and disagreements on the right calculation.

FirstLight built a prototype, enabling the client to interact with the data at multiple levels, from the summary level to the exceptional cases. This helped them understand where their plan failed and gave them end-to-end visibility into the process. Consequently, they could improve their customer service process by enhancing their complete and ontime delivery from 65 to 87 percent between February and December 2022. The client, for 2023, has set the goal of 90 percent and aims to deliver most of their product orders on time with overall process improvement.
