January 15, 2016 saw a re-branding of the 23 years old firm, Synergy Development Consulting—the firm would be now known as Forthright Technology Partners. But what made the firm, led by Andrew Medina, CEO to re-brand themselves? Was it impulsive? "One customer said 'They always tell me the truth, even when it hurts,'" says Carl Gersh, director of sales and marketing, Forthright. “If you think about the IT market in general, it's not unheard of people to stretch the truth and try to sell you something you may not need. There is a lot of mistrust in this market." And so as the year turned a new page, so did the company’s name, with a new corporate tagline, “Honest, and we know IT.”
