GoFor Industries

Brad Rollo, Founder-CEO
“The genesis of GoFor Industries was me actually solving my logistics-related pain points as an owner of a construction company,” mentions Brad Rollo, Founder-CEO, GoFor Industries.

Last mile logistics can be a challenging affair, especially for industry verticals with changing job sites, such as construction. For its fulfillment—be it for procuring materials from a seller, or transporting construction items from one place to another—Rollo had to often pick out a higher-level worker from his crew whose absence would hamper the work progress. On the other hand, handling the logistics himself hindered him from effectively managing the site. Rollo knew that he wasn’t the only construction business owner facing these pain points. He also noticed that even the retailers in the construction space found last mile logistics to be revenue draining deal, especially with the need to manage the fleets and pay for the return of empty trucks.

To address these pain points, Rollo, leveraging his product management expertise, technology background, and experience of running startups, founded GoFor as a holistic solution that simplified last mile logistics, by facilitating the transactions and communications between contractors, retailers and logistics providers.

“The transactions facilitated by our cloud-based platform will automatically match the right vehicle for the delivery request. It enables users to seamlessly manage that delivery from start to finish, and even provides proof of delivery, and invoicing,” mentions Rollo. A typical contractor—or consumer for that matter—working with a retailer can use GoFor to have anything delivered promptly, irrespective of the quantity or size of the load in question. Being cloud-based and offered as a web or mobile app, the platform is device agnostic and can scale with any growing last mile logistics requirements that its users might have.

Another differentiator of GoFor’s business model is that the company has mastered quick deliveries at par with what entities like Amazon does.

This has particularly enabled retailers partnering with GoFor to make commendable customer impressions. Today, several household names such as The Home Depot, Dulux, and PPG are partners of GoFor who recognize that the company, more than transporting products from point A to B, emphasizes keeping customers informed and satisfied. This evidently translates directly to brand appeal.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, when online shopping soared, GoFor was able to rapidly help its partners scale their last mile logistics seamlessly

The GoFor platform seamlessly integrates with any existing technology solutions like ERPs, Ecomm Platforms or Point of Sales to further enable automated checking in and dispatch for customers and retailers. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, when online shopping soared, GoFor was able to rapidly help its partners scale their last mile logistics seamlessly. Accordingly, the company grew its operations by 600 percent, which even helped them establish a firm foothold in expanding to the US markets. GoFor has also extended the scope of its last mile logistics prowess by catering to companies that pertain to a wide range of industry verticals in addition to construction.

Owing to the immense reputation that it has cultivated in a short time since its inception, GoFor established operations all over Canada and several parts of the United States. The company’s go-to-market strategy as a part of further expansion plans in the US involves partnering directly with suppliers, serving as their logistics provider. They are also exploring opportunities for offering cross-docking services for its clients. Another milestone in the company’s growth would be its partnership with Shopify that would see GoFor help e-commerce websites directly with their fulfillment.
