As a VMware-based DRaaS provider, iland securely restores business applications and data in the cloud to deliver an efficient and improved Recovery Time Objective(RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO). The firm also enables its customers to create simple backup files or documents to Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) portal in zero recovery time. “In a catastrophe, our team’s focus is to backup files from client’s data center to iland’s cloud. In order to keep our customers businesses safe and secure, we regularly conduct tests on how our DR plan can function in real-life disaster, through the iland ECS Portal,” mentions Sparvero.

Working with customers facing DR issues, iland facilitates inter-cloud replication of their clients’ data and applications to a secondary failover site. The DR firm works hand-in-hand with their users, and understands their VM groups before setting up their replication into the iland cloud platform.“Our ECS integrates with Zerto, a provider of DR software for VMware-based virtual servers, to offer cloud-based DRaaS for helping enterprises to have an update of their copied virtualized applications in iland’s cloud,” notes Sparvero. iland’s partnership with Zerto increases flexibility and provides zero RTO to facilitate full-fledge control over their customers DR plan, and automate failover and failback.

Enhancing excellent production-level performance and granular replication, iland uses Veeam Cloud Connect—provider of fast and secure cloud backup for VMs—that enable its users to store their VMware and Hyper-V backups in the cloud.

This collaboration allows clients to easily sign up for the cloud connect backup option by setting up on-premise Veeam Availability Suite v8 solution, which configures backups in seconds. “With years of experience, we have the ability to easily restore our clients’ data from the backup copies at anytime,” affirms Sparvero. Unlike other disaster recovery service providers in the market, iland partners with Vision Solutions’ Double-Take Availability, a data migration tool which helps several customers to easily copy on-premise physical servers and workloads from other clouds like AWS to the inland cloud.

Over the years, iland has been working with numerous clients to provide transparency required to minimize the unpredictable cost, performance, and compliance issues that plague the process of recovering data. For instance, Strata, a media software company needed an effective DR plan in place, after being severely hit by thunderstorm. To build a flexible DR process, Strata chose iland’s cloud-based DR solution, which helped them to self-activate and self-test their DR plan in case of a calamity. “We enabled Starta, to achieve zero RTO, expand their DR plan, and safeguard their systems and applications, that are critical for the growth of their business,” explains Sparvero.
