Charting Ways from IT Planning Through Implementation

Jason Kranitz is a ‘work hard and play hard’ character. While he enjoys golf and quality family time outside the office, Jason uses his 15 years of high-performance computing, storage, and networking technology experience to build best-of-breed technology solutions at Integrated Media Technologies, Inc. (IMT), the company he cofounded. Currently, as the Vice President of Sales at IMT, he works with a broad range of clients spanning the Media and Entertainment, Government, Education, Healthcare, and Corporate IT industries. “The organizations in these areas are very interested in upgrading their facilities and data center consolidation. For instance, Broadcast and Media & Entertainment companies want to move to file-based technology workflows. IMT is equally strong in delivering solutions from the EMC Federation, such as VCEvBlock, VMWare, and VSPEX that leverage our Cisco expertise as well. IMT‘s highly qualified consultants and engineers utilize these technology solutions to build state-of-the-art IT systems that position our clients for the private, hybrid, and public cloud models. “Our experienced project managers assure that the project is completed on time and on budget,” he adds.

Drawing from their experience working with many enterprise clients, IMT can help chart the clients’ way from planning through implementation. In one such example, IMT helped the University of Southern California’s Institute for Neuroimaging and Informatics (USC INI) design a high-performance computing facility leveraging Cisco UCS, Nexus, and multiple petabytes of EMC storage; enabling USC INI to run their VMWare Cloud, in house applications for neuroimaging analysis, processing, collaboration space, web, and archiving. “This complete high-performance computing, networking, and storage solution was delivered and fully integrated within record time and on budget,” says Kranitz.

Other than expert consulting and implementation services, IMT also designs and builds Interactive Video Learning (IVL) Systems for enterprise class distance learning and interactive corporate communications. IVL is composed of several location independent sub-systems, which can be easily integrated with a company’s broadband network, providing maximum flexibility at a minimum cost. “The IVL system provides a large, geographically dispersed organization with a highly effective and reliable method for communicating between facilities, meeting rooms, and individuals, at a level that matches HD broadcast quality television,” says Kranitz.
