The firm has assisted the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) that provides IT services to the Department of Defense (DoD) and also works with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that comprise 23 unique component agencies including the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), U.S. Secret Service (USSS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) among others.

In Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), KPS’ ‘as a Service’ delivery of communications support has played a key role for the infrastructure as well as operational maintenance for all models of communications equipment. This $200 million “as a Service” contract has delivered capital equipment purchases and maintenance per port and per appliance price on a monthly basis. KPS delivers this service-based operational approach to the contractor owned government site model. The company helps DISA to regularly reduce its hardware deployment from 6-12 months to less than 45 days. Because KPS provides streamlined maintenance and troubleshooting, there is no necessity to contact more than one vendor regardless of the OEM or HW.

Interestingly, KPS has also embarked on a journey called the 10X which means ‘ten times’. The company envisions growing into a $400 million firm by the year 2022.
