Zeus, a proprietary ‘as a Service’ automation tool software from KPS, allows customers to gain visibility into their infrastructure along with streamlining the procurement processes. A major differentiation for KPS is Zeus, due to its custom and ad hoc reports, that permits clients to gain a detailed understanding of the infrastructure in place, its utilization, the lifecycle status of each device, and the purchase price–all in real time.

KPS largely caters to the Federal sector mainly due to the large Federal security requirements and regulations and the volume of legacy applications maintained by multiple agencies.

“We conduct annual and quarterly reviews of the Federal marketplace to understand where different agencies’ needs lie as well as the spending patterns, budget allocations, and congressional funding of programs,” claims Eisiminger.

The firm has assisted the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) that provides IT services to the Department of Defense (DoD) and also works with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that comprise 23 unique component agencies including the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), U.S. Secret Service (USSS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) among others.

In Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), KPS’ ‘as a Service’ delivery of communications support has played a key role for the infrastructure as well as operational maintenance for all models of communications equipment. This $200 million “as a Service” contract has delivered capital equipment purchases and maintenance per port and per appliance price on a monthly basis. KPS delivers this service-based operational approach to the contractor owned government site model. The company helps DISA to regularly reduce its hardware deployment from 6-12 months to less than 45 days. Because KPS provides streamlined maintenance and troubleshooting, there is no necessity to contact more than one vendor regardless of the OEM or HW.

Interestingly, KPS has also embarked on a journey called the 10X which means ‘ten times’. The company envisions growing into a $400 million firm by the year 2022. Furthermore, the company’s Integrated Solutions Division that represents focus on engaging key OEM partnerships will be aligned with the company’s new age of inter-connected services.
