Furthermore, meVisit has been selected as the leader in telemedicine technology by the Institute for Telemedicine (IoT), a non-profit organization solely dedicated to the research and education of online care for physicians and consumers. Johnson reveals IoT’s plans to disperse the technology to health providers free for their extensive use in return for supporting maintenance of the system. In doing so, the company is expected to add 3,000 more health providers over the course of the next 30 months, which would lead up to more than 10,000 providers within 48 months. “Even though we do a great job at showcasing how our system works, there is always an ongoing improvement challenge because the more we can improve upon what we already have, the greater the utilization is going to be by the physicians and their patients,” concludes Johnson.
