Last year, NKSoft worked with a utility company who needed complete business solution for a new subsidiary, from Sales Management, Accounting to HRM. Working with NKSoft, the client was able to deploy the new integrated system within 30 days and gain a complete accountability of the subsidiary.

NKSoft is now working with one of the largest utilities in Asia to start an ‘innovation project’ to fundamentally shape the utility industry for the next century. “We are working as innovation consultants utilizing our technology stack and helping our customers to spur innovation to develop their roadmap,” delineates Chowdhury.

NKSoft is currently engaged in providing eight million prepaid meters with the help of their open source stack. “Our partners provide the meters, but with our technology, we are able to offer meter deployment project management, mobile payment to ongoing operational systems at 75 percent less cost then what is charged by other major meter vendors,” concludes Chowdhury.
