The company has designed a cuttingedge platform, MMRV (measurement, monitoring, reporting, verification), for the Ecosystem Services Market Consortium (ESMC). It provides a comprehensive analysis of soil health, irrigation, historical and predicted weather, farm equipment, satellite imagery, and crop management data. This enables meticulous tracking of carbon emissions and removals associated with regenerative farming practices. With its innovative solutions, PLANT Group has helped support close to 80,000 acres of regenerative farming, across 15 states and over 70 counties.

PLANT Group is now kicking off a new software development project with Saving Tomorrow’s Agriculture Resources (STAR), a free nationwide tool to assist farm operators and landowners in evaluating their nutrient and soil loss management practices on individual fields.

STAR encourages farmers and landowners to use management practices and make decisions that will reduce the nutrient and soil losses on their fields, and in return, they are provided a STAR score, recognizing their level of commitment to conservation, along with a conservation improvement plan and funding resources for supporting continued conservation work.

The company understands that in industries traditionally characterized by more conventional practices, such as energy and agriculture, there's often a lag in terms of user interface and usability standards. This is why PLANT Group invests immense resources in usability and user experience research, adopting a proactive approach.A dedicated branch focused on usability and UX research, led by transmedia artist Chongha Peter Lee, conducts a series of user interviews to understand the pain points and ensure the products are intuitive and user-friendly.

PLANT Group's efficiency in bringing a sustainable world through its solutions can be demonstrated through an interesting story. NextEra Energy, the world's largest electric utility holding company by market capitalization, approached PLANT Group to develop an intricate system predicting failures within their wind turbines. Armed with a model outlining probabilities of potential failures for various turbines and components, they sought assistance in transforming this data into actionable insights. PLANT Group developed an AI and predictive forecasting software that translated the probabilities into simulated work orders, resulting in the client gaining valuable insights for effective planning across different contingencies.
