Despite RFID’s mainstream acceptance, many of its facets still remain unexplored. Until recently, businesses were oblivious to its competitive advantages. This lack of knowledge has led many companies to invest exceedingly in RFID projects.

Though it is widely believed that RFID is expensive, PROINSA says otherwise. “We bust the myths surrounding RFID by bringing down costs and offering customized and scalable solutions,” adds Allan Rojas, CEO of PROINSA.

Since its inception in 2013, PROINSA has been the pioneer in RFID technology in Latin America. The high-tech integrating technology company develops RFID solutions that support clients in managing numerous operations and bolster their competitive edge.

PROINSA functions as a strategic adviser, helping clients automate logistics, sales, financial, administrative, and other auxiliary operations with RFID technologies. As companies across the globe attempt to utilize RFID to reduce operating costs, streamline inventory management, and reduce physical labor and pick-up time, PROINSA offers hand-held devices, tags, antennas, readers, and scanners to help them achieve that.

In 2015, PROINSA became the first and only company in Latin America to secure Advanced RFID Specialist certification by establishing a commercial alliance with Zebra Technologies (ZBRA: NASDAQ). A few years down the line, it obtained Oracle Partner certification for integrating a full suite of cloud services with its RFID solutions.

With such partnerships, PROINSA offers RFID technologies that enable businesses to manage fixed assets, practice seamless inventory management, and use SaaS and on-prem systems. These innovative plug-and-play solutions reduce the timeline of associated processes and introduce operational efficiencies that lower costs. Unlike the one-size-fits-all RFID solutions available in the market, PROINSA’s products are parameterisable and easy to implement, catering to a business’s specific needs.

PROINSA examines and informs clients about the deficiencies in their operations and develops solutions that address their unique challenges and propel them toward their operational goals and business objectives.
PROINSA’s team assists them in every step of the implementation process and delivers products and services in an expedited timeline.

“We conduct proper analysis and deliver recommendations to maximize the efficacy and optimize the cost of our clients’ RFID solutions,” says Johanna Villalobos, COO of PROINSA.

The diversity of its product suite vividly represents its long-standing experience in the industry and ability and knowledge to foster innovation in the RFID domain. A software and product development company, PROINSA is certified in all leading technologies and remains vigilant of the latest software and hardware development trends.

To paint an evocative picture of PROINSA’s expertise, Villalobos cites a customer success story where it helped a client implement its RFID tracking system, TrackIt. The client owned over 250,000 containers and lost 10,000 of them annually due to inefficient tracking.

As a solution, PROINSA implemented TrackIt to enable the client to gain better insights into each container’s location and the individuals responsible for them. It also conducted internal audits to help them achieve improved visibility into their operations. This way, the client reduced the loss by up to 99 percent. For another client, PROINSA installed over 30 RFID portals across the entrances and exits of numerous buildings, tagging over 15,000 fixed assets and delivering tailored software solutions for improved asset management. PROINSA has implemented over 200 RFID projects across Latin America, training businesses about the technology and ensuring a smooth transition to RFID.

PROINSA delivers customer-centric solutions owing to its strong organizational culture that encourages innovative ideas and the development of future-ready products. As the necessity for global business continuity spurs the demand for RFID solutions, PROINSA will continue transforming how companies utilize the technology, assisting them in driving their growth and quickly adapting to changing market narratives.
