Serving the education sector for over a decade now, QuaverEd has been aiding instructors in imparting knowledge to shape learners' skills with their specially curated programs for elementary students. The company specializes in supporting students' development by providing lessons and content that help in engaging them with their physical and cognitive growth.

Founded in 2009, QuaverEd had set out with the aim to support K-8 music educators with high-quality teaching resources. Gradually, the company expanded beyond music to empower teachers and counselors with digital resources to equip educators to engage students in academic, social, and emotional learning. “Our goal is to make our resources for teachers as easy as turning on lights,” says Alice Rolli, VP Sales and Advocacy, QuaverEd.

Over the last few years, the company has introduced various curricula, including QuaverSEL, QuaverMIC, and Quaver Pre-K, to impart different learnings to students. The Quaver SEL provides an innovative approach to social and emotional learning specially designed for the PreK- 5 students and teachers. The aim of this curriculum is to instill a culture of caring among students to make them feel cared so that they are happier and can achieve more academically. Similarly, the educators get a complete package to support students, which makes their job easier. Quaver MIC offers music integration with age-appropriate music lessons to allow students to learn and make time for music in their academic school day. Besides, Quaver Pre-K brings an innovative way to engage children in experiential learning by combining online teaching and instruction tools with hands-on experiences. By bringing the appropriate technology engagement, the company fosters cognitive and social learning in students. All the resources offer easy usability to teachers with a single sign-on facility. “Our core differentiator is that we have infused music and interactivity in every aspect of teaching a skill. At the same time, we literally write and compose all the songs,” says Alice.

With such outstanding capabilities, QuaverEd has enabled over 15,000 schools to move to a fully remote instruction setting amid the COVID-19 pandemic. “Our platform already featured remote and distance functionality settings even before the pandemic.

We retrained thousands of educators to help them successfully transition to remote instruction.” In an instance, the company worked with Miami Dade Public Schools, the fourth-largest school system in the U.S., to align its nine core values with Quaver SEL during the pandemic. QuaverEd built a special website for them to align its materials with the client’s values. "This has been a year where educators across the country, and around the world, have had to pivot from in-class to at-home, from synchronous to asynchronous, and every possible mix in between. QuaverEd, by already being more than a static curriculum, was poised to respond quickly to the growing needs of our outstanding teachers. During the time, the company also worked with educators to enhance its platform allowing them to share resources with students over video conferencing platforms like Zoom and more. “We helped educators continue teaching despite schools being shut,” says Alice. At the same time, the company introduced several new lessons on grief, anxiety, safety to help children cope with new challenges brought by the pandemic. In fact, the company is soon going to launch its new resource, Quaver Health, which will feature 196 lessons aligned with the national health education standards. Quaver Health's functionality and interactivity will remain consistent with that of the other programs. In essence, the program is designed to track the health of every student and cultivate a sense of accomplishment when they are able to achieve a health skill after practicing it thoroughly. The active teaching user interface of Quaver Health is designed for PE teachers, health specialists like school nurses, and school counselors. Another interface is built for the class teacher to help reinforce healthy habits on a daily basis. With this new addition to the already strong family of digital learning materials, QuaverEd will continue supporting educators with creative teaching and learning strategies.
