Sangoma’s expansive portfolio enables it to connect everything —devoid of the technical and monetary blockades. The company also offers excellent solutions for Enterprise Communications and a professional services team dedicated to customer satisfaction. An example of this can be found in Sangoma’s work with an Avaya-Lync Integration through IntrustIT in Cincinatti, a company that has experienced a significant uplift in requests for Lync due to its UC features like IM, presence and screen sharing.
The end customer was using Express for Lync to initially integrate with and eventually migrate from an Avaya PBX. Express for Lync was inserted between the Telco and the PBX to avoid the potential pitfalls of doing a flash cut. By changing the routing rules in the Express for Lync software with a simple one line command, the customer tested the installation in the evening, the office continued to work on the existing PBX during the day. The customer avoided needing to purchase extra T1s from the Telco and paced the transition to mitigate the risk.
Going forward, Sangoma has outlined a perfect roadmap for its growth. The company is not a consulting company but focused on innovation, design, manufacture and marketing around the world. It builds upon its core competencies of Product Visioning, R&D, and getting the right products, to the right people at the right time.
“But Sangoma is not positioned to the market as the cost leader. We are not the least expensive product available. We are known for premium quality (in functionality and robustness) at a reasonable or fair price,” concludes Wignall.
