Telstra’s portfolio of solutions and apps are intuitive and flexible—giving customers the opportunity to engage with their clients and provide the best possible experience. For others, it’s about being able to stay connected to remote teams across boundaries and geographies, via multiple devices whilst continuing to collaborate across video conference and instant messenger services. “Our mobility solutions are designed to cater to each of our customers’ needs and the fact there is no one size fits all when it comes to designing a mobile work environment,” remarks Yarkoni. Telstra works with customers to define, develop, and deploy mobile solutions that will perform across distance and device. The company’s applications and services portfolio can help customers define a mobile strategy that supports their specific business challenges.

To save Telstra’s Enterprise customers the time, effort and distraction of managing their mobile fleet, the company offer an end-to-end Enterprise Mobility Managed Service. Whether customers have a small or large mobile fleet, Telstra’s Enterprise Mobility Managed Service framework is flexible enough to suit their needs. It covers a wide range of device types and mobile operating systems, and also extends to a range of supported mobile applications that leverage Australia’s largest and most reliable network.
In one instance, one of Telstra’s global customers, TIAA Henderson Real Estate (THRE), needed a full business and technology suite built from scratch, including a global wide area network, private cloud facilities in Europe and Asia, and virtual desktops and high quality unified communications tools across the world. Telstra adopted an ‘agile infrastructure’ approach to allow THRE to commence building key elements of the global network and hosting, which enabled the model to be built according to a design that was still forming. This innovative solution overcame THRE’s key concerns, such as security, disaster recovery and compliance, while minimizing the internal resourcing required to manage these systems.
“While Telstra already has significant scale and scope right across Asia, our acquisition of Pacnet Limited—a provider of connectivity, managed services and data centre services—will cement the capability to advance in the industry,” says Yarkoni. In addition, the company’s recent investment in Kony allows Telstra to collaborate more effectively with customers and enable the development of unique mobile Apps. “On a broader spectrum, we are committed to continuing our investment in our products and infrastructure, so we are responsive to customers’ evolving needs while helping ensure resilience, reliability and scalability,” concludes Yarkoni.
